Headphones are the new black. Even Dr. Dre has his own line. You're stoked if you just sit inside and jam out; you have plenty of headphone options. But me? I'm an outdoors kind of guy. And thanks to H2O Audio, now I can keep my tunes playing while surfing, swimming or wakeboarding.
Like its name implies, H2O Audio is committed to waterproofing your audio equipment and allowing you to listen to tunes at all times. Its Amphibx series consists of waterproof armbands in Small, Medium and Large sizes for your Shuffle, Nano and iPhone, respectively. Pair one of these with a set of H2O Audio Surge earbuds and you, my friend, are H2O-proof. The Surge headphones come complete with a carrying case and 5 sets of earplugs, ensuring an individualized and watertight seal. Both products are waterproof up to 12 feet and besides scuba divers, who really goes deeper than that?
(But if you scuba, don't worry, they've got you covered too.)
Amphibx armband with Surge headphones
I recently went on a surf trip to Costa Rica and brought my H2O Audio Amphibx armband and Surge earbuds with me. Truth be told, these items did not disappoint. I was 80 yards out in the Pacific Ocean, surrounded by water, but could still bump my head to Bloc Party or Empire of the Sun. The armband stayed very secure around my bicep; if anything were to happen, no big deal...the armbands float as well.
Thanks to H2O Audio, I was able to check "Get barreled while listening to Bob Marley" off my bucket list.
Now if I could only get that threesome four-leaf clover.
